Prince Aerion Targaryen once drank a cup of wildfire, convinced it would make him a dragon. It made him a corpse instead—briefly. Fate (or the gods, or some bored Valyrian demon with a taste for jokes) spits him back into the world generations earlier, reborn as the twin brother of Prince Jacerys Velaryon, son of Princess Rhaenyra Targaryen.
He isn’t a dragon. Tragic.

El’s brows furrowed, lips twisting, “You think I’d ever forget your name? Forget you?”
“Did you not?” Mike asked with a pained smile.
Egged on by his editor, Mike embarks on a journey to the remote town of East Iceland, Seyðisfjörður, to recuperate and perhaps, find something inspiring to write about. What he finds there instead is the love of his life, once presumed dead, now real before his eyes, and a community that offers him the space to heal without handing him the cure.
Maybe his life still has capacity for the adventure and wonder that he’d once thought he’d lost forever.

In the middle of celebrations, the Glacier Spirits themselves wreak havoc on Wolf Cove, and even Aang can't seem to calm them down.
On the far East side of the South, things aren't much better. A dreadful famine has set over the village of Glacier Combe, and the Chief's daughter Yanagi ventures into the barren ice floats at the first sign of spring.

“I sincerely hope,” he murmured as he walked toward you, past you, pulling each curtain shut until the room felt private, secretive—dangerous, “it’s not another envelope.”

Ayato dislikes attending political banquets and events—but there are times that he must show face for once. You accompany him as his personal retainer and guard, of course, yet have to act accordingly under the eyes of the political nobility and lordlings... not so much as a touch is appropriate. You must act as if you are nothing more than a servant to him, and it is an act you are very used to and practiced at.
The Inazuman nobility are no strangers to assassins and deep plots, least of all Ayato himself—and you are used to being a preventative step, stopping such attempts from reaching your lord (and beloved). Though you aren't used to being caught in the crossfire of it, consuming a compromised cup meant for him.
