He would balk at the idea under most circumstances. Sex is another form of torture. It might not be with her blood coursing through him.
He opens his mouth to entertain the idea–
And Auri’s body goes limp in his arms.
Astarion blinks. When he licks the blood from her neck, she doesn’t move. His chin is no doubt painted red. Panic swells in his breast, but Auri’s chest rises and falls. She’s not dead. She’s just an idiot. “Stupid girl,” Astarion whispers.
It’s for the best. He might have done something Auri would have regretted.

Rumi didn’t ask before bringing the tiger and the bird home, but Mira and Zoey have never held it against her. Each of their beds has always been large enough for the three of them even if they mostly slept separately, but after the Idol Awards, Rumi never goes to bed alone. Zoey and Mira fit perfectly in the holes in her chest. That, at least, hasn’t changed.
It’s a tight fit with the tiger and the bird, but they make it work.

Astarion did have a plan to flee his Master. He'd take some gold and run for a merchant city and make a new, luxurious life for himself.Despite that, he ends up at the Circle of Calm Waters, surrounded by druids.
