Summary
Tim and Damian have been thrown into an alternate universe. They've been there for two years now. Practically giving up all hope on ever getting back to their universe, they make the best of what they got, Wayne Manor and fortune, a bunch of people who are this universes versions of those they love, and each other. One day Batman finally finds which universe they were sent to and takes Nightwing with him to bring back his other two sons. This is the conversation and following events that takes place after Damian and Tim walk into the house to find Batman and Nightwing sitting on their couch.

"Twenty-year-old fashion designer and university student Marinette Dupain-Cheng was recently revealed to be Paris’ famed spotted superhero Ladybug in a viral video sent to the Parisian Police Prefecture late yesterday evening before being mass broadcasted to TF1’s news channel LCI for public viewing. The video, long since confirmed authentic by authorities, portrays the fall of the red-and-black heroine’s transformation to reveal what appeared to be an injured Mlle. Dupain-Cheng leaning protectively over another injured man, presumably her black-clad partner. The anonymous source left the video with a single message stating that the heroine and her partner Chat Noir will be held hostage until further notice, the latter of whose identity was promised to be revealed by midnight tonight by way of another video. The police are currently working tirelessly to locate the Parisian superhero team. In this dire time of need, we dare to be hopeful of our beloved protector duo’s safe and timely return. This is an ongoing investigation."

When Buck starts to feel like he doesn't have anywhere he belongs, Ravi lets him move in against his better judgment. There's nothing to worry about though because it's just temporary...up until it isn't. What have they managed to get themselves into?

A childhood of hospitals and doctors made Ravi very averse to wanting things. At a very young age, he had to learn to love and appreciate what he has. What is tangible and in front of him. There's no point in wanting or wishing because tomorrow's never promised. Why waste precious time and energy on fruitless wants, when that effort could go towards appreciating what he has?What he has at the moment, what is tangible, is his friendship with Buck. That is real and happening right now, in the present. There is no reason to even think about, to entertain the mere idea of something more. Ravi is perfectly happy with what he has. There's no other choice.

Summary
It's not even muscle memory at this point. Buck has been single for months, and even then he hasn't had a serious cloyingly sweet acts of domesticity style relationship in even longer. Maybe it's the comfort of familiarity crossing with his distraction that does it, but he does not mean to kiss Ravi.
