Apply pressure and bind the wound, Will’s mind automatically supplied, but the only words his mouth managed to form was ‘I’m useless’.
“What did you say?” Nico’s eyes darted between Will’s hands, his back and his lips, squinting as he tried to read the words that had fallen unspoken from his mouth. “Use - oh, yeah. I know. I…yeah.”
His voice had turned quiet and Nico sounded crestfallen, so Will tried his best to push air through his throat.
“No,” he croaked out, hissing in pain as his back protested to the contraction of his lungs. “No,” he repeated, before adding, “it - me.”

Amazing series of KuroTsuki works, I really like these AUs! The worldbuilding is absolutely stunning, and the dynamics - I don’t tend to read works on the steamier side of AO3, but l have to admit these are extremely well done.
