Apollo Justice has been hired to investigate the suspicious and untimely death of wealthy socialite Klavier Gavin.
It’s not like this is the first time Apollo has investigated a death, but it is the most high profile one he’s ever been tasked with – Klavier Gavin’s death had made the morning newspapers, and even Apollo had recognised the name when he heard street gossip of how his body was apparently found rigid, lying flat on his bed, his eyes wide open like he wasn’t dead, just paralyzed, and unable to crawl back into his own body. Apollo doesn’t want to think about the state of Klavier Gavin’s body now, although looking into the autopsy report is an inevitability. He hopes that the medical professional at least had the thought to close Klavier Gavin’s unflinching eyes.

That way, they both get a vacation, plus free food and wine.
