Summary
Lucas Ducard is just a normal guy. Sure, historically most guys don't work as dance instructors and wear their hair long, but it's the 21st century, so he's fairly normal regardless. Maybe he's a bit cheerier than your average New Yorker, but that only adds to his charm. He's perfectly happy in his small apartment, his pleasant job, his wonderful students, perfectly average...
Except for the fact that he's a millennia-old elf warrior. But that's a secret, obviously, and he likes to keep it that way-- it's simpler. Glorfindel has always liked keeping things simple.
And he's managed that wonderfully, until it predictably all comes crashing down when a horde of dark creatures invades Manhattan from a gigantic hole in the sky. So he gets the attention of SHIELD. And the Avengers. Which is really just his luck.

Imladris is in need of allies in the nations of the Far East, the strongest among them Camelot. But Uther has set his kingdom on a path to ruin, and trouble is brewing. Hell, at this rate the crown prince won’t survive long enough to take the throne, let alone unite Albion. So what is to be done? Send in Erestor, the Spymaster of Imladris, of course.
Thus, Merlin is born.
(Or: Erestor has a mission to protect and guide the prince of Camelot. Friendship was never meant to be involved in a job like this, but every job goes wrong somehow. At least people didn't die this time. Well, not many, anyway.)

Clark hesitated. It wasn’t as though his professional life and his personal life overlapped very often, Bruce and the kids being some of the very few exceptions.
The only way Clark would be able to introduce Bruce to the League, aside from him getting kidnapped and them having to save him, would probably be to bring him up to the Watchtower. Out of the suit. As a civilian. And Clark didn’t see Batman being comfortable with that any time soon.
“Probably not, but we’ll see.”

Or, Clark has finally revealed his identity to the League. Who... immediately found out he was married to Bruce Wayne. If Clark had his way, Brucie and the League would stay far, far away from each other.
