    Summary

    Figured the Hozier quote was fitting for this series as whether they get together or not, the previous Golden Guard has to die. But, only fair I explore a universe where they do "actually" get together, right? So, here it is!

    My fiancé said that quote reminded them of these two 💕

     

    This is my collection of stories that are explicitly Darius/the PGG, and the backstory I made up for them. Why do I like this ship? I guess for me, it's because living and working in the castle must have been a tense experience, and we all-but-know that Belos was abusive to all his Golden Guards, and the Coven Heads aren't doing that great either. Yet, in all that stress and turmoil, these two carved out a space where they could be loved and happy. Yes, they can't "officially" be together and yes, one of them dies, but despite that his life still made an impact, made ripples long after he was gone. What they had still meant something, regardless. It meant—it means—everything.
