Summary
Ranboo hears something he wasn't meant to, and leaves his little house in the arctic to go back home. When he discovers that 'home' doesn't want him back, though, he has to face the reality that he is just as alone as he always was.
As time passes, most of the SMP gives up their search for him, but one person doesn't. They need to hurry, though. The longer he's alone, the more he wonders what there is to live for.
Far away from where he's alone in isolation, there grows a place for the abandoned. What will it take for him to find it, if he does? What are the stories of the others who find shelter there?
A dysfunctional family with members who all need help- he'll fit right in.

Summary
Before anyone assumes anything, Tommy was not abused. His parents never hit him, or taken the opposite approach and refused to touch him. Tommy was a perfectly loved child.
It was just that growing up, he'd never platonically hugged his friends. He'd hug his parents and his extended family, but he never greeted his school friends with a hug. It just wasn't something he did.
But it seems to be something that the Sleepy Bois and Tubbo did.
Or, Tommy meets up with Tubbo, Wilbur, Phil, and Techno and has a hard time navigating their friendly touches.

“I’ll miss you.” Sapnap whispered, tears welling in his eyes.
“Nonono, don’t you dare do that!” Karl spoke to him, holding his face just like Sapnap was holding his. “Don’t act like you will never see me again! That’s not true.”

“See you later, nimrod.” And the barn door closed, the love of his life whisked away. He fell down to the floor, tears falling out of his eyes. Why did it have to be like this? Why couldn’t they be two boys from California or New York with supportive parents where they could love? Why was this wrong?

fathergood friend; and he’ll be damned if he lets philza get away with his neglect of his youngest son yet again . when he’d first met tommy, he had heard the rumors.
“sam, he’s a troublemaker. you’d be better off without him.” “god, he’s so selfish- i don’t see how people can put up with him, really..”
but even through all that, tommy is still a child. he’s still a kid, a child who hasn’t gotten the chance to learn how to be a kid, a child who was thrust into war when they were barely 13 because of their older brother’s reckless decisions. he was a child, who trusted said older brother through thick and thin, because they didn’t have a father figure to tell them that it was wrong.or, sam and puffy pay phil, techno and ranboo a visit.

Sam was having a rough day.
The egg situation was getting worse, he had to give up a few pearls and a gapple to get out of a tight situation because of his own stupidity, the rain pouring down was slowly growing into a thunderstorm which was always great for him: to say a migraine was steadily building behind his gas mask was an understatement.
So when Tommy decided to play a small prank on him by stealing some of his stored away armor- that wasn't even good armor or important to begin with, now that he realizes- he admits that he maybe reacted with more, er, 'vigor' than he needed to.
