If that version of herself could even seriously picture such a world, could imagine how they’d fill their days, she doubts the list would include falling asleep fully-clothed and exhausted most nights, Jack nodding off long before Furiosa is ready to stop planning at her worktable, his even breaths the soundtrack to her late-night tinkering.

Rebuilding the Citadel is hard work. Rebuilding the broken shards of her own humanity isn’t exactly easy, either. Fortunately, Furiosa has help for both - if she can learn how to accept it.
