After a month in Dubai, Daniel Molloy is back home and miraculously alive, eager to get to work on his first draft. The vampire Armand has other plans.

But he knew, and with a little smile he gave Daniel the Blood from his tongue this time. Armand had yet to take his drink, but he wanted to reward the boy. The performance had been resplendent.

Even if the writer’s block is sort of Arthur’s fault in the first place because Merlin finds it increasingly demotivating and depressing to try to write emotionally satisfying gay romance novels when he suffers the misfortune of living in a rather emotionally unsatisfying one, with endlessly building tension and no fucking climax.
Or, Merlin is a romance writer secretly and pitifully in love with his best friend and flatmate Arthur. To unstick his writers block he decides to date Gwaine and Elyan, a poly couple. Turns out nothing unsticks except Arthur's sanity.
