The truth is, a real star never truly dies. They fall, they fade, they drink Long Islands in the back of some dive bar in San Francisco while their manager pretends to care about their career before going back to their condo only to wake up the next morning and find out they've "moved on"...
Okay, so maybe some stars die, but it was a nice metaphor while it lasted.
