For another time, he calls his number, just to hear his voice again but instead of the “Hi, I’m not available right now. In urgency, call my best friend Nick, who probably knows where I am,” someone actually answers the phone.
I recently read ‘You’ve reached Sam’ and couldn’t help but make a NicknCharlie story with a reference of it.

Nick knew he was ready. For some time he knew what he felt for Charlie. He was drawn to him when they met and now, four and a half months later, he finally knows what it was. It wasn’t just friendship, no. It was a crush. He didn’t know what that made him. What would happen when he’d tell Charlie, but he knew he was about to do that. He was about to tell Charlie that he liked him in that way.
Nick&Charlie’s first kiss if it weren’t at Harry’s birthday party. I’m pretty sure other writers (and I) have written other, alternate ways for their first kiss but here I am, writing another one.
Oh, and Charlie already knows about the date with Imogen thing. Elle told him before Nick came. And Nick already talked to her that he didn’t like her like that.
