Jamie stood in the doorway with his head down fidgeting with the bottom of his hoodie and chewing on the string, “Need you.”
Roy looked up from his laptop to see Jamie standing in the door looking like a sad wet animal and knew exactly what he needed.

“You could be my business.” Roy ignored the jolt of how right those words felt. Ignored Jamie’s own stunned, gaping expression. He raised a hand and cupped Jamie’s jaw, kissed him with all the barely contained, pent up everything he had been feeling about Jamie Tartt since he’d swaggered his way into the locker room at Nelson Road. It wasn't necessarily a nice kiss, but it was a pretty fucking great kiss, in Roy's estimation.

Rody’s mouth opens again, but before he can say anything, there’s a loud yowl that echoes from behind a door; it’s followed closely by the distinct sound of scratching against wood. Vince looks toward the direction of the noise, then back at Rody with his eyes narrowed.
“S-surprise?” Rody tries, smiling sheepishly before rushing toward the door.
Or, Rody finds a stray kitten and falls a little bit in love with it, so he decides to share the feeling with Vince—an early birthday gift. He’s not as easily persuaded on the outside, but Rody can tell he loves the little guy just as much as he does.

The persistent cough rattling Vince’s chest was the first sign. He’d ignored it, of course, blaming it on the pack-a-day habit he'd cultivated to mask the emptiness where a sense of taste should be. The aches that followed were equally dismissible; he always ached, it was nothing new, he likely just exerted himself more than usual
But then came the nose.
It started as a tickle, an irritating prickle that demanded attention. He’d swiped at it with the back of his hand, a quick, unconscious gesture, and gone back to berating the fishmonger over the phone for daring to deliver monkfish that looked like it had been dredged from the Seine.
Then it ran. And ran. And ran.

Rody was laying on his couch, spacing out (oh who are we kidding, fucker is thinking about Manon), when his phone suddenly rang, startling him a bit. Did Manon finally call him back? He sat up so fast and immediately picked up his phone.
“Manon? Is that you-“ Rody got cut off. “R-Rody…” Vince stammered a bit. Rody did not expect Vincent of all people to be calling him, let alone at what…midnight? The bistro was closed already. “Come…o-over…” And Vince quickly hung up before Rody could even reply.
Why did Vincent want him to come over? Was it another late night dinner party? Come to think of if, Vince sounded…off…was he sick? Did he have a frog in his throat? OH GOD IS HE DYING-

“I… don’t know,” Gary responds, weaker than he intended. Tension hangs in the air; the ticks seem to echo through the room.
“Gary,” Dr. Bambillo leans over his desk, fingers interlocked.
“Do you like yourself?”
A therapy session with Dr. Bambillo ends up being a wake-up call for Gary. It also keeps him awake, so he finds Jimmy in the middle of the night to get some fresh air.

Oftentimes, that was how it was. Receive a letter, give advice, get an update and thank-you. He had a feeling that wouldn’t be the case with Lovesick Lunatic. Somehow, their story stuck with him. After his relationship with Ginny had crashed and burned, and he had to witness his best friends get together, he found a little special interest in it. The letter was something he could appreciate, something sweet and not attached to anyone he knew. He reveled in that, the distance between Lovesick Lunatic and him. And Harry lived vicariously through each word on the browning parchment.
Or, Harry James Potter finally has a year to himself without someone trying to end his life. He decides to start an advice column. He did not, however, choose to fall in love.
