    In an improbable turn of events, Raistlin Majere travels back in time and meets is hero in the flesh, the famous wizard Magius, at the eve of the battle where Huma defeated the Dragon Queen and her armies. Raistlin knows that Magius is destined to a horrible death, but as the two grow closer together Raistlin finds himself deciding to battle destiny for a chance to save Magius.

    The story takes place during the novel Dragons of Fate, following some of its scenes to then develop in a different direction. So: Spoilers for Dragons of Fate.
