After being bitten by a radioactive spider Harry resolves to use his newfound abilities to save people... for attention? Okay, so maybe his motivations aren't the best at first, but it gets better. Never mind, worse. It gets worse. Spider-Man is notoriously hard to photograph, and the Daily Bugle becomes desperate enough that they offer to pay anyone who can bring in good pictures of Spider-Man. Harry webs all of their cameras without a second thought before he runs into his high school crush: Peter Parker. Next thing Harry knows, Peter is trading photo opportunities for kisses, complicating their relationship far more than it ever needed to be. To make matters worse, Harry's nemesis, Green Goblin, is starting to catch on. Now Peter is a target, and Harry is the only person who can save him and his family. Summary
Spider-Man has three fundamental rules. Always get back up, never kill, and keep his identity a secret to protect the people he loves.
Through blood, sweat, and tears, he's managed to uphold these rules for years now — even though all it causes is more suffering.
Despite this, he's still a person. One who isn't invulnerable, one who can't always save everyone, and one who can't always hide who he is. He's not perfect, no matter how hard he tries to be.
So, when he accidentally kills Green Goblin, he's heartbroken. He doesn't know what to do with yet another life lost to his imperfection.
Luckily, a certain Merc with the Mouth — that he's come to know as the closest friend he's ever had, despite said friend knowing nothing about him other than his hero persona — is there to help him.
At least, until he's hired to kill Peter Parker — who's Spidey's cute photographer. Then, all bets are off.

But once they fixed up the Statue of Liberty, everyone moved on from it the way they move on from every freaky thing that happens, so learning much more than that has been harder than finding Blind Al’s hidden stash of cocaine. And Wade is also a busy guy, so unless he has some reason to care, he’s gonna make like his old man and fuck off about it.
This, though, might be a reason to care.

With newfound abilities, no idea where they are, and no money, Parker's luck and Marinette's legendary bad luck have reached their most absurd point.
