“What did you just say?” Said man growled.
Many people would call Katsuki and Shouto powerful. Most of the country would, as they were both ranked in the top ten heroes. Hell, even Bakugou would call Todoroki that, he has enough sense to give him credit where credit is due. But there was nothing powerful about Shouto eating a God damn mother fucking lunchable at nine-thirty at night.

“Fuck it,” Bakugou exhales angrily, more to himself, and then suddenly is leaning over Shouto where he sits, arms by his sides and face close to his. "It doesn't matter what kind of weird mind game you're playing. I'll beat you no matter how much better than me you think you are."
"When you're not acting out I actually respect you a lot," Shouto corrects mildly. It's said in part because he wishes Bakugou would get over this complex and in part because he's starting to develop a knack for making Bakugou pull the face he's pulling now. "You're really not that bad these days."
Bakugou blinks furiously, then sags abruptly, expression gone disheartened. "You've lost it. I- what's next? You gonna declare your love for me mid-battle?”
“I don’t think so, no,” Shouto replies, instinctively, then stills, thinking about it.
“I’m fucking- going,” Bakugou continues, undeterred and jittery. “Fucking weirdo.”
He's up and gone in a hurry, casting a last disturbed glance back over his shoulder, and Shouto stays very still, looking blankly at the sky.
Well, shit.
He thinks he may have missed a few things while redefining his feelings.

Summary
Shouto Todoroki wakes up to a spacious apartment, the pro-hero lifestyle he's always dreamt of, and a hot boyfriend who cooks him dinner. One slight problem: last he checked, he was in his UA dorm room, most definitely celibate, and pro-hero work was nothing more than a lofty goal. Also, there is a very high chance his hot boyfriend is Katsuki Bakugou, with whom Shouto can barely count five exchanges that didn't consist solely of insults and threats to his life.
Meanwhile, minding his own damn business at UA, Katsuki finds himself plagued by a Todoroki who barely acts like himself and addresses him like he's a particularly rambunctious stray kitten.
Alternatively: Todoroki and his future self swap places. Long-repressed breakthroughs and hijinks ensue.

After the two of them are spotted at a Valentine's Day hero convention while on a mission, Shouto gets the brilliant (and extremely bad) idea to pretend he and Bakugou are there on a date together. It's brilliant because it's the perfect cover story.
It's bad because he's desperately in love with Bakugou, and Bakugou has no idea.

The room smelled of campfires and caramel. Sweet with an edge of danger.
Somehow, the glare he was receiving from the omega laying in the sheets, body completely bare save for the white sheets pooling at his waist and hiding his own arousal, did nothing but spike Shouto’s own.
“Bastard,” the blond king tsked. Despite his appearance, the sweet, tantalizing scent coming off of him, he scowled, expression menacing. “Can’t believe I have to mate some fucking brat that rides his dad’s coattails.”
Shouto didn’t speak for a second. His tongue darted out, wetting his lips. At this point, the prince could practically hear his own heartbeat roaring in his ears, his instincts telling him to throw himself over the omega on the bed.
Instead, he simply chose to respond to the other.
“I hate my father. Far more than you may realize. I do not want to be here anymore than you do,” his voice was a bit strained, never breaking eye contact with those glowing red eyes that were practically taunting him at that point.
The king on his bed actually laughed at him. “Yeah, that’s why you’re still doing his damn bidding, right? Why not force him off the throne, then? Take it for yourself."

“Is it?” Mydei tilts his head, his gaze locked with his; his hands shift and Phainon starts as the silk is suddenly hiked up – “Had it been that way, the bet wouldn’t have been lost…” and steeled fingers slide beneath to glide over bare skin, “and you wouldn’t be walking around in this state – for everyone to see.”
Caelus losing a bet and making it Phainon's problem was one thing.
All of that having the domino effect of Mydei fucking him in the ass for hours was another.

Alhaitham closed the remaining distance in a single stride, cutting him off. “You’re so caught up in your own expectations that you never fucking listen.” His voice dropped lower, deliberate, his gaze locking onto Kaveh's like a snare. “Maybe what I care about just isn’t rug shades.”
Kaveh turned his head, trying to look away, but Alhaitham’s fingers caught his jaw before he could escape, firm and unyielding. Their eyes clashed - all at once, everything was too close, too intense.
Kaveh’s back hit the counter as Alhaitham’s free hand slammed onto the surface beside him, caging him in.
Or; a heated argument escalates into something undeniable - something neither of them can ignore.

Like two souls intertwining. He snapped the book shut before Kaveh could read that far and cleared his throat again, more gruffly this time. “- a challenge.”
Stretching his arms above his head, Kaveh set his wrench down on their coffee table and straightened. “Well, let’s try it. If it doesn’t work, we’ll stop. Simple.”
