Summary
The Hunger Games were an annual event. Smitty used to be afraid of the reaping each year, until one fated day his name was pulled. But he survived, and he was a hero. He would never have to step foot in that arena again.
But the fear returned.
It was the Quarter Quell, an event every 25 years where the game makers would put their own twist on the games. This time, all past winners of the games would be in the reaping.
Even winning didn’t guarantee freedom.

Summary
After three and a half years of struggle, Joel's biggest wish was to graduate college with no problem and move on with life. As he worked towards this goal, taking his last graduation requirement courses, he accidentally stepped astray.
