Summary
This year, UA is experimenting with a new Young Villain and Criminal Reformation Program. Instead of twenty hero students, the first year hero class will be a combination of both hero and villain students....The hero students will have one year to find the villains in their midst in order to escape Eraserhead’s expulsion. For the villains, this is their last shot— it’s blending in or it’s prison.
Midoriya Izuku wants nothing more than to be the first quirkless hero. After failing the practical hero exam, he’s shocked when he receives a letter telling him that he has been offered a tentative position in the illustrious Class 1-A.
There’s just one problem: Midoriya has been accepted to Class 1-A as a villain, and he has absolutely no idea why.

Astonished, Izuku could only watch as All Might nodded, and the pleased look on Nighteyes face seemed to grow.

In his third law, Newton states: "for every action, there is an equal and opposite reaction."
This very law seemed to apply to every aspect of Izuku's life. From the moment his quirklessness had been announced, the reaction had been volatile from his peers. Then, when he rushed to save Katsuki that one particular afternoon, it had been catching All Might's eye and receiving a quirk that he'd never been able to imagine in even the wildest of his dreams.
So when the Shie Hassaikai Raid comes to an end, and Izuku wakes up to Nighteye and his mentor standing by his bedside, the former looking smug while the latter only looked resigned, maybe Izuku should've expected yet another negative reaction to his actions. To his failures.

Aizawa had seen the worst of the world long before he was an adult, but by now he was sure that there was nothing that would surprise him anymore. He knew what he was getting into when he chose the path that he was following, and death and tragedy was bound to follow him. It was part of the job description after all.
But a cold silent night, of those he particularly enjoyed, he found himself feeling not so lonely during his patrol. He felt watched.
A mysterious kid seems to appear just at the right time and disappear just before he could really understand how, why and what he was doing there.
It was endearing just as much as he was mysterious, and Aizawa soon found himself feeling the need to protect uncover the truth about the kid.
What hadn't occurred to him is that maybe there was a reason as to why he couldn't touch him, as to why he could only see him at night.

It doesn’t make sense, really; feeling this obligation towards someone that made him hate himself for what he wasn’t. Thinking of Deku trapped and confused and in pain, makes something creak inside Katsuki. Like his bones are about to splinter. He’s thought about trying to soothe it, but the feeling is too deep to even dare reach for. What other parts of himself would he have to get through to find it? How much skin and sinew is he willing to scrape off to get to wherever and whatever this is?
Because how can he understand it, in a way that doesn’t hurt?

Shirakumo doesn’t seem surprised by it, but Izuku whips his hand back when the intense chill climbs up his arm.

It was too quiet for Aizawa to be comfortable. A smooth patrol - with not so much as a pickpocket - was unheard of. Perched on the edge of a rooftop, looking over the eerily quiet city, he watched as the night started to fade into dawn. For the past half hour he’d been waiting for something to go horrifically wrong, as per the norm of his career. But nothing happened. He watched as a handful of civilians went about their lives, returning home from graveyard shifts or on their way to the early morning ones, chugging coffee or stumbling drunk. It’s a sentiment he can appreciate.
Fine. He got lucky just this once, blessed with an easy patrol, he won’t return home bloody. He could ride the high of an easy night and make it home in time for a nap before he has to teach.
That was until he saw a kid on the roof of an abandoned building, swaying precariously on the edge.
