Or, Techno, Wilbur, and Tommy are basically chaotic forces of nature, destined from birth to end the world and bring destruction. Most who hear of the tale of them are trying their best to track them down, and to end the monsters while they’re still young, still just children.
Phil has a different plan.
(In which Phil raises the minecraft equivalents of the anti-christ with love and support, so much so to the point where the world ending is really just a funny thought, and Phil has three kids who casually have powers that are bit more extreme than anything else in the world)

Techno just sits on the other end of the couch and bounces his leg, mostly just looking at the fire, but occasionally glancing at Tommy.
“So, uh, you do anything interesting in school today?” he asks, Tommy would laugh at his awkwardness if he wasn’t so confused.
“I failed a math test,” he says. God he wishes he could go back to that being his biggest problem.

Anyway, complete reworking of Clementine to my Auber-gine, in a whole au format vs just me writing poorly characterized Davesport. Here's better characterized Davesport!
Biggest Changes:
-Davey is trans fem, instead of trans masc nonbinary, making them t4t queers (in their eyes) vs t4t gays.
-Dr. Henry Miller has more screentime and a more important role overall :)
-Oscar and Matt have more screentime
-The Narrator is replaced with Rebecca as he leaves, vs a chapter afterwards.
-There's an aftermath to The Fazbunker. And it's no longer just exposition.

Maybe if he had been a magician, things could’ve been different.
He would’ve still worked at Henry’s circus, perhaps. He’d be one of the stars of the show, balancing on top of those colorful balls and pulling (fittingly) rabbits out of a purple top hat with a pink bow around it. The crowd would cheer and applaud, and one day you would take Dee there and see him. You two would talk. He’d see Henry’s flaws for what they were. You’d beat the man’s head in with a baseball bat, given the opportunity, and then you and Dave and your family would run off and live a new life. A life where the thought of Dave sprawled on your chest, sleeping without tension for once, didn’t make you want to start burning your throat with bleach or bourbon. Whichever was nearer. It didn’t matter.
None of your wishes mattered.
Or: five ways Dave could've been something, and one way where Jack was more than enough.
