Summary
Flins and Illuga find someone (you) sleeping inside a cave with no recollection of their past life. Though your situation seems innocent on the surface, things are not as they seem.
Illuga’s investigations of the Wild Hunt in Nod Krai reveal a stunning pattern indicating the possible creation of a new enemy: an enemy whose origins are unknown, but who nonetheless ravages Nod Krai in the shadows and is becoming worse than the Rächer of Solnari or the Doctor. Still, things progress normally—that is, until the assassination attempts on you and Illuga begin.
Illuga says Teyvat’s oldest legend details the story of an Outlander whose arrival spells the end of the world. The secret hidden deep within Irminsul, the Anemo Vision, Nightingale—somehow, all of these things are connected…and they are all connected to you.
To trust what you sense is one thing. To believe what you think is another. Things become infinitely more difficult when the eyes of those in power peer down upon you, when those Illuga trusts begin to doubt you, when the truth is deliberately obscured from the two of you the more you try to find the answers.
