It isn't as if Clark doesn't know Bruce is—attractive. Objectively. It isn't even that he doesn't know he's spent maybe a little too much time being really, really aware of that fact.
And sure, it's gotten to him, now and then. He's gotten twisted up about it, sometimes. Feeling too much, wanting too much, a pressure in his chest and a lump in his throat. But he's always gotten a grip on it again. It isn't that bad.

Summary
Post-JL 2017, Bruce and Clark are starting to figure each other out. Clark's also starting to think he wants to get to know Bruce a lot better than either of them expected.
And then, to help the dangerously depleted ranks of the Green Lanterns collect evidence against an intergalactic slave trader, they have to go undercover: Clark as the Kryptonian overlord who conquered Earth and has proven able to hold it against even the incursions of the New Gods of Apokolips ... and the pride of his personal collection, a human warrior he subdued and trained himself. Which means Clark has to pretend he really is the nightmare Bruce once believed he would be, and he also has to keep it together in the face of leading a collared, naked Bruce around on a chain—when all he's starting to realize he actually wants is to get on his knees for Bruce instead.

Nothing, for a handful of seconds that felt like a long time, like about the longest time Jake had ever had to wait for anything.
But then the radio came to life again, and Virgil said, the barest static around the edges of the words, "It's okay, man, I'm telling you. I see you, all right? I see you, I see the plane. Circling around now. They got a ZSU out here, damn near ran me over, but I got down into the brush before any of 'em spotted me. I'm good. So you take care of the skipper, all right? (Or: in a universe where Krypton took an extra thirty-odd years to implode, Kal-El was sent to Earth as an adult, in advance of the ship containing the only other surviving Kryptonians; and a quirk of Kryptonian law means negotiating refuge, potential resettlement, and an alliance with the Kryptonians in general is dependent on marriage between a Kryptonian and a human. Bruce did what it took to make sure that that human would be him, instead of some poor unprepared civilian—but his efforts to learn more about the aliens, what they want and why they're here, and how, if necessary, to kill them ... don't go the way he's expecting them to.)

Color is rising into his cheeks. His mouth is half-open, slack, with the slightest damp shine where—
"That was," Bruce makes himself say, and then stops. Christ, what word can he use? What adjective is there that acknowledges his trespass fully? "Inappropriate." Inadequate, but it's the best he can do, and Clark needs to hear something, needs to know Bruce recognizes his own mistake for what it is. "I apologize. I—"

GQ turned that thought over for a good long minute, watching blankly as the pteranodon screamed some more and then swooped in a circle over them. Maybe he was hallucinating. He had a couple holes in him, and they probably weren't in real good shape; maybe he'd gotten an infection, caught a fever. Maybe he was dead, and he'd gone to dinosaur-obsessed nine-year-old GQ's idea of heaven at the same time he was getting a taste of his own: Croc, right there with him, still looking after him, even though he'd popped his clogs like the useless breakable mammal he was.
Then again, a cranky dude shouting about "real magic"—as opposed to the stuff he'd already been using to murder people for fun, presumably—had also tried to banish them from his lair with a glowy stone, so.
Maybe he couldn't actually rule anything out on the basis of the pteranodon alone.
