“Simply dreadful, aren’t they?” A gentle voice came from beside him, making him jump. Blitzo whipped his head to look over at the person next to him and found himself looking up and up and up at a tall, leggy owl. When the fuck did he get there!?
He hooted, the sound reminding him of a giggle and Blitzo found himself flushing slightly. A heart-shaped faceplate that mirrored his black mask housed two bright ruby eyes. The feathers surrounding them were the color of moonlight, almost translucent and reflecting the crimson glow of those wide, glittering eyes. Two more eyes peeked out at him from his forehead, nestled in plumage the color of the night sky that swooped back above his heart-shaped face.
“You are a curious little creature, aren’t you?” He cooed, leaning in to get a better look at Blitzo by bending at the hip. He gave another hooting giggle and a sweet, genuine smile spread across his face. Blitzo crossed his arms.

It wasn't exactly a surprise, amongst the clusterfuck of everything that had happened, that Blitzø hadn't made any real moves, per se. Perhaps he was merely being a gentleman and allowing Stolas the space he thought he needed. Only Stolas didn't need space anymore. He needed to get fucked. And really, how much more complicated could things get between them at this point? If anything, they finally wanted the same thing. Just sex. Nothing else. No strings attached.
