But no matter how much Tommy runs, no matter how much he pleads, Dream doesn’t stop. The axe in his hands strikes true time and time again, shredding Tommy’s meager armor and tearing fragile skin open to weep blood.
Dream doesn’t stop, not even when he begins to recognize the terrain.
Tommy, blinded by panic and terror and fear, doesn’t see the beacons at first. He’s too focused on moving, on running, on getting away before he can’t, but when he lifts his head in an attempt to find something—anything—to use for protection, he sees a red light splitting the sky in two.

"It’s evening. Eight thirty-two p.m. The sun would be setting outside, washing the landscape in fiery colors that he hasn’t seen for weeks. Or months. He’d grieve, but the endless, empty void of limbo suits him better these days.
Tommy can’t count the times he’s done this. He wakes up, just as bloodsoaked as he was in death, and cradles the clock in his hands like it will save him.
Eleven thirty-five a.m., he read with an ache in his chest where a sword used to be.
Three eighteen p.m., he read with blurry eyes, vision still swimming from the phantom damage to his skull.
Five forty-nine a.m., he read after an eternity of trying to summon the strength to move his arm, white and pale as a sheet. Dream wanted to see just how much blood was in his body. Tommy doesn’t know the answer; he wasn’t awake long enough to see it through."

Eddie jolts. “Russian torture devices?”
Robin carries on like she didn’t hear him but Steve catches his eye and he’s grinning. “How do you even have a boner dude? You were definitely having a nightmare I know your twitching means a nightmare… Did you have a boner over Vecna?”

The only real upside to all of this is that their Blood God might be just as lost and confused as Tommy is. Oh, also, he's very much not a god, but nobody's told the cult this.

I read that wild wolves love babies. Like some wolf pups got dumped near a pack or smthn and the pack was like "Neat! free kids!" and so........
Tommy is just a wee pup, just a little baby, scared and alone; abandoned by his previous pack for god knows what fucking reason. (They're assholes, that's why.)
Tommy is really scared at first, has severe separation anxiety because his previous pack literally abandoned him, but he slowly gets comfortable and more confident and they love him so much. So much comfort!Wolf mother Kristin finds him and is exactly like "Neat! Free kid!" and brings Tommy to the rest of the pack, where the rest of SBI is also like "Neat! Free kid!" and immediately love him.
That's it, that's the summary of this.
Werewolf SBI adopt little pup Tommy, love him, and all is good in the end.Series
