"Stop kicking me." Wilbur responds, Tommy swinging his feet the moment Wilbur says that. Wil scoots back in an attempt to save his ankles from attack, and as a result, he practically elbows Techno. "Oh, shit- sorry-"
Technoblade doesn't even say a word in response, in fact, he hardly even opens his eyes. He just yanks out the pillow from underneath Wilbur's head, and raises it up into the air, and then swings it down. He ignores the muffled scream that comes with it.

“Hello…” Someone whispers from behind him, frigid hands grabbing onto Dream’s shoulders. The cold seems to become even worse, a chill sinking into Dream’s very bones, the skin around his shoulders and neck feeling like ice. “You have something of mine.”
Dream’s breath stutters out in something like fear, and he turns his head, comes face to face with a dead man smiling down at him, hovering in the air.
A ghost.
(In which Dream kidnaps Tommy from Techno's base to take him back to exile. Techno and Ghostbur retrieve Tommy. Ghostbur is a little violent about it, tbh.)

The door opens with a slight squeak-- a problem in the hinges that Techno’s has to get around to fixing-- and the warm light from inside pours out onto the front porch. It’s a stark difference from the dim rain of the night, and already, Techno can feel a chill rush in.
Wilbur stands there with wide eyes, soaking wet from head to toe, with something small held up to his chest. It’s wrapped in what looks to have been his jacket.
“Ah.” Wilbur gives a half-hearted grin, ignoring the insistent meow coming from the bundle of fabric in his palms. “Hi.”
Techno slams the door shut.

A drag of silence passes. The demon’s smile fades into a blank expression that could almost be called confusion.
“...Yes…” The demon trails off. “You could, but couldn’t you go bigger than that?” It phrases the question as an offer, a chance to make the deal at least a bit complicated. Demons don’t like simplicity, it seems.
Shame, because that’s all sleep-deprived Wilbur cares for.
“What could be bigger than Money?” Wilbur asks, raising his eyebrows and clapping his hands together. He then winces with a curse, having forgotten about the fact his palm is still sliced open.

Summary
His words meant nothing. He was nothing to them. They lifted their heads again, and all they saw was Tommy. All they saw was a life that could save everybody else.
So Wilbur fought.
He screamed and kicked and tried to keep Tommy in his arms, but he was sorely outnumbered, and he came into this place thinking he would finally be able to rest. He was tired. He wasn’t enough.
They took Tommy.
(Or, Wilbur and Tommy go into a town thinking they'll find safety. After Tommy is found out to be immune, he's immediately used to try and find a cure, and Wilbur is locked up to prevent any problems. All seems pretty unpog, until a new survivor group rolls around hearing about some youngins in a town nearby, and they don't take kindly to that sort of mistreatment towards the boys...)

Purpled was the first to break away from the staring contest to give the Prince an unimpress, almost slightly disgusted look. The sound of Ranboo sighing disappointedly and Tubbo’s burst of laughter follows.

But no, that doesn't happen. Tommy casts his eyes over the lot of them and there isn't a single moment of recognition. No light, no relief. He looks even further confused, actually, with the way that his brow furrows.
"Tommy?" Techno says again, but Tommy turns forward, continuing his walk like they mean nothing to him. Like Techno means nothing to him.

Like honey!” Tommy blushed and scowled at his best friend. “I’ll show you soft.” Tommy tackled him and they rolled around on the grass until one of the lunch aids told them off for it. He layed like a lump on a log on Purpled and sighed when he started playing with his hair. The other kids around them were used to their antics and were never phased by them. Tommy still missed his dad when he was at school but he always gets embarrassed when his family tells him his first day of kindergarten. But it was easier, much easier, when he goes to school now because of Purpled. His best friend always gets his mind off of his dad and it helps even if he doesn’t know it.
