“Tell me.“ The softer body landed with a thud on the far wall. Peter planted palms beside frail shoulders shivering, hiss darkening to a low growl. Panic searing scarred flesh. It was too late to turn back. He had to get rid of him. “What acts of sodomy you crave, so I can repay my debt, and be rid of you.”
“B-b-b—“ Light eyes flashed. Elias whimpered, shrinking beneath the glittering stare, trying to soothe trembling shaking his voice, his hands. “Bless Peter and keep him safe, heavenly Father. For he needs your protection, more than I need your love.” His cheek flattened to a sharp corner, ghastly pale against peeling wallpaper, fumbling buttons loose, wrinkled knit pooling elbows exposing a constellation of freckles. Frantic pulse jumping in a slender throat bared, fumbling the cross for comfort. “Please shelter him from evil that preys upon him in these walls, and give him the strength to endure. Allow him this comfort.”
“What good—“ The older man forced a sneer, shoving off and turning, as if Elias offering up his body didn’t make his stomach contents violently churn, choking on revulsion. “—did He ever do anyone.”
“He saved my life. And I am going to save yours.”

Summary

Thumbs drifted after tears before Hannibal leaned in to kiss each quivering bead of light, maroon eyes staring at the frightened boy looking out from piercing gaze, voice a soft whisper against lips. “Tell me, Will… was all the boundless beauty of this fallen world etched in the runes of your bones and…” A quiver of pain wavered notes to low hum of quiet. “And…writ to shine through the light of your eyes from birth? Or have you merely allowed me the grace, the honor, and privilege to witness your radiance in the life we have shared? To let me love you all the same?”
They felt tremors beneath their tangled bodies rooted to the ground.
“God, please…” Will murmured, a fresh sting of tears welling eyes, lifting them upward and praying for the first time in his life to anything that would listen.
Take us. Take us both. Just don’t…please don't. Don’t take him from me.

“Missing them only hurts when I realize how happy I am and remember why I shouldn’t be.” Soft snuffling turned brittle. “Sometimes I feel so guilty.”“Me too.” Peter kissed a damp hairline, cupping a nape gently, feeling for the chain of a crucifix that now hung on their bedpost on the weeks Elias lost faith. “I owe them my life for bringing me back to you.”
Hence the long walks. Where I sometimes find you in tears, screaming at God.

After. What a small word for such a monumental event looming on the horizon.

Based on a requested prompt. Where Will is an idiot, ahem, I mean Will loves Hannibal and tries to surprise him by making a home cooked meal using dishes from Lithuania. Fails spectacularly to lie his way out of it and everything goes horribly wrong. And then they cuddle. The end.

“A moment ago, I was considering choking the life out of you with your apron,” The older man said in a monotone.
“Well. I...” Will looked at the half apron covered in flour, smattered in frying oil, and smudged in various sticky stains of berries. Then at his bright red knuckles, throb pulsating up his arm. He glanced at the wedding bands on his other hand. “I…would like it if you reconsidered, darling?”
