Except you grew up with the Resistance in the Western Frontiers. You left, still a teen, transferred to the Eastern frontier, seeking the Sully family. Hellbent on ensuring Neteyam would not die. Convincing Jake Sully was easy on your part, mostly because you straight up lied and said "I have prophetic dreams." He didn't believe you at first until you recounted events in full detail that you were definitely not alive for yet.
And that's why you're here, the glorified babysitter of the Sully siblings. The whole avatar thing was annoying sometimes, waking up in this human body then suddenly your navi one. But you make it work.
