It’s been a year since they left Wild.
It’s been six years and four months since Wild had last seen his brothers. Wild had counted the days, tallying them on the tree next to his house, until his life is flipped upside down when his adventure started. Time seemed to slow down and speed up, days turning into nights as he worked to find Flora, but never did the back of his mind leave the topic of his brothers… and now that he has them back, he makes no means to ever let them get hurt again.
(Or: Wild gets double cursed and doesn’t tell anyone. Nobody is happy about this)

“I’m in a time loop,” Link calmly and quietly starts. Not calmly Twilight realizes, Link’s mind recoils at the mere mention of it. However, some part of him is so innately exhausted that it’s numb at the concept. “Upon either my own death or Gannon's I return in time. Over time the curse has strengthened, making the time loops more and more unhinged. The circumstances of my awakening are different every time, but are rarely fortunate. No one’s been able to so much as notice the curse, but I think it’s safe to say it’s evolved to carry a very potent curse of misfortune. There’s more to the curse, but it’s powerful and inconsistent enough it’s hard to pin down with a simple name.”

“I am no traitor.” the man protests. Flat eyes of a shark almost make Wanderer believe him.
“Don’t patronize me. You’re Resistance.” Wanderer snorts, an oddly breathy thing full of mockery. The blood has started to feel like molten lava burning on his face, his stomach, his legs. “Here, it’s a sin of the same degree. They hang your kind, too.”
In the midst of wartime and turned fugitive on the run, Wanderer forms an unwilling alliance with an estranged resistance soldier to escape capture - well, that is, of course, if Wanderer doesn’t kill him first.

Summary
Aether lives a completely ordinary life in suburbia near Liyue Harbor, until a beautiful yet scrappy stranger shows up at his door, claiming to be fleeing from his abuser: a corrupt doctor. When the Doctor catches up to the stranger, who calls himself Scaramouche, and sets his sights on the pair, they form a hasty alliance and go on the run together.
Not long after a target is painted on his back and he’s thrust into a way of life he understands nothing about, Aether learns that there is far more to Scaramouche's history than he was willing to share.

“Oh. Hey,” is all Reno can think to say.
Cloud doesn’t react, except to roll his wheelchair closer. Reno thinks about making a run for it—he is not equipped to deal with this level of shit today—but for some reason all he manages is a twitch in the direction of escape. His feet don’t actually move, rooted in place.
“You’re lookin’ good,” Reno says, which is a damned lie.
Cloud looks exactly like someone who’s been through the shit he has, worn and pale and exhausted, like he’s been chewed up, swallowed and halfway digested, then spat out again and left to rot.

Tighnari heaves his body up a branch and promptly freezes when his gaze lands on a boy propped against the trunk, sprawled on the branch above him. It is not seeing another child in his getaway spot that stuns Tighnari, and it is not even the fact that the boy is sleeping there as if entirely confident he wouldn’t fall. What stuns Tighnari is the hood over his head, unmistakeably shaped into two triangular ears.
“Valuka Shuna,” Tighnari breathes.
