Summary
He was so tired. So, so tired and all he wanted was to sleep. But when does he ever really get what he wants? His stomach was killing him. The horrible cramping pain coming from the days of not eating. Usually he gets used to it by this point, but maybe because he was actually able to eat pretty consistently last week, it hurts more. The gnawing feeling of emptiness was all he could think about for the past two nights.
aka, naruto has a shitty day, but maybe, in the long run, everything will be okay? (ft. kakashi being a good big brother, and sasuke, head over heels for one specific blond boy.)

Naruto is totally a normal college student. Sure, he may have gotten bitten by a radioactive spider, but that doesn’t mean anything! He’s a normal guy, with a totally normal life which may or may not include saving the city every once in a while. He has good friends, an adoptive dad, and he’s doing well in his studies. Even if he is an arts major, who cares? It’s not like that will matter later if he becomes an avenger.
Or; Naruto is Spider-Man and has to deal with what could happen if his friends ever found out. He’s not very good at hiding it, especially from Sasuke, but he prays his friend will stay naive.

In a reverse of roles Sasuke is too slow to stop Haku's senbon and Naruto "dies" in his arms, unlocking the mangekyou sharingan and a very possessive kind of love within him. Luckily this isn't a problem, as Naruto grows to become just as possessive when Orochimaru attacks the boy he'd given his life for and subsequently tears a hole in the Kyuubi's seal trying to protect him.

Summary
“Have you ever heard of hanahaki disease, Naruto?” Jiraiya asked.
The kid’s face scrunched up as he went back into the recesses of his mind to see if he could dredge anything up. It didn’t take long, maybe because there wasn’t much there. The kid was a moron, a brilliant moron in his way, but a moron nonetheless.“Hakitaki disease? No," Naruto said.
“Hanahaki disease,” Jiraiya said. “Sometimes, when someone loves another person and doesn’t know if the other person loves them back they start coughing up petals, then full blooms, then the flowers take root in the lungs and--" he hesitated. "They die."After being diagnosed with hanahaki, Naruto goes on a mission to find Sasuke and confess his feelings to try and cure the disease, as the only other option is a surgery that would render him incapable of loving anyone. The mission fails and a weakened Naruto is captured by Danzo and forced to get the surgery so the village doesn't lose a valuable asset.
What will Sasuke do when he finds out Naruto's love was taken from him, and what will he do to fix it?
