Despite already knowing it, Shen Yuan still gets surprised when it finally happens:

Basically, LQG gets transmigrated into a dogblood drama (the "dog-biting-dog" style melodramatic soap operas, hence "dogblood"), but just wants to cultivate and live happily with SY. If only these damn characters would get a hint and stop trying to drag him back into the plot!
Meanwhile, after being forcefully repatriated, SY uses all his superpowers as an avid trashy web-novel reader to try to predict what will happen and protect LQG from all the shitty tropes while also dealing with the realization that there’s been cultivation in the modern world this whole time!Not to mention the familiar-but-different faces popping up here and there…

After Shen Qingqiu gets hit with Without-A-Cure, everyone believes that's it and that there's no cure. Rightfully so, given the name of the poison.
That is until Liu Qingge’s mysterious past seems to rear its head all of the sudden.
A past so hidden that none of the other Peak Lords knew about it-- that Liu Qingge is in fact a Prince to a small, unknown secret island. This fact should have stayed forgotten, as it was a half-baked idea that Shang Qinghua aka Airplane had left unwritten, that is until something triggers the mysterious storyline event to appear to much of Liu Qingge's bewilderment who remembers nothing about his past. And so begins Shen Qingqiu's surprising attempt to stop Liu Qingge from getting taken back to his childhood home all whilst trying to find a cure to Without-A-Cure.
Written for the MXTX Big Bang 2021 Event.
