Summary
When Auror Potter is anonymously cursed with silence by being forced to hide his own voice inside his mind, there's unfortunately only one person in the country with the qualifications to fix it: Certified and Licensed Healer Legilimens, Draco Malfoy, specialist in Mind Curses and Afflictions. It's obviously a terrible idea, a disaster waiting to happen, but Draco's never been able to back down from a challenge... especially from Potter.
Features fuzzy cartoon slippers, devious house elves, 90s music, and lots—LOTS—of memories. Ron is annoyingly hot, Hermione sees right through you, Harry is a powerful idiot, and Draco is a reclusive masochist that would buy an entire city if it would make a kid happy. (And Pansy is "5'2, I wanna dance with you, and I'm sophisticated fun.")

"I-I'm Yor Briar!" she finally tells him, her face turning red with emabrassment. "Yor Briar."
She stiffly puts out her hand. "Nice to meet you!" It comes out as a squeal because her classmate has really intense eyes.
Loid looks down at her hand, his eyes hard, and Yor considers retracting it before a boyish laugh escapes him. He grabs it.
"The pleasure is all mine, Yor," he says, but rather than shaking her hand, he kisses the back of it.
Yor's brain malfunctions.

Summary
When Loid adopted Anya and they became the Forgers, he made sure that the families with the surnames Williams, Levski, Klein, and Roche that were most likely to adopt were either no longer in Berlint or at least lived in or worked on the other side of the city. For the ones that were too close for his liking, he made sure to keep Anya away from any neighborhoods or establishments that would increase the chance of a run-in. In a city of almost 1.3 million people, there was a very small chance that the Forgers would run into any of them by happenstance. It was such a small chance that Loid had discounted the possibility after doing the math.
Perhaps that chance hadn’t been small enough.

A hulking form stands a few paces away. A pair of beady black eyes glare at her. The creature’s shaggy brown fur ruffles in the breeze, and its sides heave with furious breaths.
The Forgers go on a family camping trip, and Yor is doing her best to act the part of a responsible mother. But when Anya goes missing and a bear appears in the woods, Yor will do whatever it takes to get her daughter back. (Written for Spy x Vacation Zine.)

Kaveh used to think that Alhaitham had mastered the art of ignoring him. The man would remain unflappable as he continued to read his worn copy of The Origins of Enkanomiyan Language, even when Kaveh was a hair’s breadth away from shattering the windows of their house with his severity of pitch.
No amount of screaming, threats to throw things, or violently waving in front of him could get Alhaitham to pause in his thirst for knowledge. As it turns out, Alhaitham literally just turns his hearing aids off so he doesn’t have to listen to Kaveh.
It’s for this exact reason that Kaveh has decided to learn Sumerian Sign Language.

A meeting of chance, convenience. That's all it was. Yor Briar and 'Loid' Forger were never supposed to meet.
Loid 'Twilight' Forger. Almost an imperial scholar, each star earned through hard work. 2 from sports, 4 from academics, 1 from volunteer work. Also a tonitrus bolt holder. 2 from physical altercations.
Yor 'Thorn Princess' Briar. Almost an imperial scholar, each star earned through hard work. 1 from academics, 4 from sports, 2 from volunteer work. Also a tonitrus bolt holder. 1 from a physical altercation, 5 from breaking silly rules.
Loid is hoplessley popular and smart, but not popular enough for Demetrius Desmond. To get closer to him he had to snake his way into his friendgroup one way or another.
Yor Briar is awkward, but pretty. An active member of the student council despite her alarming amount of tonitrus bolts. She was popular, basically Desmond level popular. Not exactly the perfect choice for his plan, but the only girl that would get people talking.
What do they have in common? The desire for the imperial scholar status and a desire for eyes off of them.
