"Vox is once again in the chat..." sighed one day, Alastor. He was doing one of his weekly broadcasts. The song "Obsession" by Animotion has just been played, and Alastor had quite an idea "I would say Vox is perfect to comment on our latest song, isn't he?" he asked "Why don't you join me today, Vox?" he asked, sending a request to Vox to join his live.
Vox smirked and saw some people put the lyrics in the chat "Awh, sweetheart, I know you are obsessed with me and I adore it, you don't have to change or be anyone else for me to sleep with you!" He knew this was going to make the Radio Demon so mad.
Alastor took a deep breath "I think you are projecting, sweetheart. Should I remind you who is the one sending me emails, that are definitely not appropriate for this broadcast, to me?"Or
Alastor is a famous Podcast/Radio star. Yet no one knows his real identity.
Vox is an emerging actor who would do anything to reach his goals, even blackmailing and worse...
But what if Alastor is also pulling the strings of his own masterplan which includes Vox?

Vox stayed there, bent over him, waiting for the punchline. The sudden lunge, the last-minute twist. The part where Alastor opened his eyes and laughed and said "𝘋𝘪𝘥 𝘺𝘰𝘶 𝘳𝘦𝘢𝘭𝘭𝘺 𝘵𝘩𝘪𝘯𝘬 𝘪𝘵 𝘸𝘰𝘶𝘭𝘥 𝘣𝘦 𝘵𝘩𝘢𝘵 𝘦𝘢𝘴𝘺, 𝘥𝘢𝘳𝘭𝘪𝘯𝘨?"
Nothing.
No music. No lazy, amused commentary. No smile rebooting back onto his face.
Just a body cooling on cracked asphalt in what used to be the loudest city in Hell.
OR Vox spends a war trying to erase the one signal he never managed to control. In the ruins of Pentagram City, he finally kills Alastor… and discovers that the silence he wanted is worse than the noise.
(This was actually supposed to be a one shot but it unexpectedly got liked a lot so im making it into a serie now)

Summary
After letting Vox gloat all day about Alastor being his captive, the radio demon finds himself bored. What Valentino said in passing starts to bounce around in Alastor’s head and he makes Vox a proposition. Maybe they should fuck. For one night Alastor lets himself fall back into blissful pain and old pleasures long abandoned. Giving up control for a single moment before putting on the mask of a master manipulator yet again.
When Vox returns begging for the spotlight after his fall Alastor is faced with a decision. Does he keep on the mask now that he’s a free man? Or does he set it aside and open himself up to the one man he regrets rejecting? The one man that came closest to being his equal. Will the radio demon self sabotage again, refusing yet another offer for partnership? Or can Vox prove himself to be a competent dom after his own spiral? Will Alastor trust Vox to safely lead him back into a sexually charged space the radio demon had occupied decades ago as a man unaware of his own asexuality? Will two rivals learn to understand past hurts and traumas in order to forge a relationship that serves them both, no matter how unconventional?

“My, my,” Alastor drawled, hoping Vox didn’t notice the waver in his voice. “Such violent devotion. I hope these aren’t just empty threats, my dear.”
Vox growled, the lights above them flickering violently as he slammed his free hand down onto the table on Alastor’s other side with a loud bang, caging him fully.
“Try me,” Vox snarled, “Seven fucking years, Alastor. You’re lucky I didn’t drag you back by force.”
Alastor hummed softly. “And why didn’t you?” He raised his hand, and slowly brought it up to Vox’s face. “You certainly had the means.”
The moment his finger’s brushed against Vox’s cheek, a cold metallic pressure cinched around Alastor’s throat.
A tight, glowing blue chain.
Or
Alastor accepted Vox’s proposal all those years ago, and Hell has never known peace since.
