Summary
The Moon Knight system heads to San Diego's Hillcrest Farmers Market to further explore the city they now call home, do a little shopping, and relax before Marc finally tells Jack about his brothers. A new acquaintance steers events in a different direction.
Buckle up, everyone. This is the long-awaited DID reveal. It's not going to be pretty, but there will be a happy ending.
Vi and I are going for maximum drama while keeping things in character. The angst is deliberate. Characters may not react to the reveal in "appropriate" ways which IMO is fine because this is fiction. That said, there won't be cruelty or abuse.

Summary
This is such an alternate universe. It starts in 2010 with the Moon Knight system and Jack in their late 20s. My co-author vicarious-rebel and I have done a number on their backstories. We have a lot planned for the Moon Doofs, as we've taken to calling them.
So everyone knows up front: this series won't venture beyond a Teen rating. It's straight-up sappy, silly romance with varying amounts of angst and action.

Summary
The TARDIS recruits a rescue team for the Doctor after the Judoon take her away, and the Master really shouldn't go. Particularly if it includes having to hang around a freakish temporal monstrosity like Jack Harkness. Then again, what does he have to lose? He could die, sure, but that means nothing when he always (always always always) comes back, whether he wants to or not.
Turns out the Doctor is determined to save the Master, too. He hates every second of it. Really, he absolutely does, she's very cruel and horrible, everything's her fault, and there's nothing good about spending time with the Doctor, at all. Ever.

Grappling with the death of his Master and the young boy he'd promised to raise, he didn't have much time to reflect on it. If he fought hard against the rising darkness, he could beat it back and only use the light. If he closed his eyes in front of the mirror, he didn't have to see their new yellow color. If he just ignored it, it would all go away.

He woke up sobbing in the arms of the crèchemaster, Master Kitaddik, who was hushing him and gently stroking the top of his head with her furry hands. Obi-Wan hid his face in the soft folds of her tunic and, still crying, fell back asleep.
The first time Obi-Wan collapsed due to a vision was not long after that.

He's prone to arguing with history professors about 'what really happened,' and what is up with his fashion sense? But he's a normal, human person.
A completely normal, one hundred percent human person.
But then again, statistics lie, everything is relative, and when John wakes up with the ability to see Time itself and the terrible feeling that the alien beat of two hearts in his chest where he once had one is somehow familiar, he finds it's worth revisiting his definition of 'normal.'
