Oh. It’s like a lightbulb flicks on in MJ’s mind once she recognizes the boy in front of her. “I remember you,” she blurts.
She doesn’t know what reaction she was expecting from that statement – confusion or embarrassment, probably – but it certainly wasn’t the way the guy jerks back as if MJ had physically struck him. His voice sounds oddly strained as he stutters, “What – how – you – you remember me?”
“Yeah,” MJ says. “You came into the coffee shop I worked at a bunch over the summer. In New York.” She pauses, and winces. “I’m sorry, you told me your name but I totally forgot it –”
“Peter,” the boy says. He opens his mouth as if to say something else, but instead closes it and shakes his head, looking strangely disappointed, almost like he had expected her to say that she knew him from someplace else. “Peter Parker.”
Or: Five times that Michelle Jones remembers something about Peter Parker (plus the one time she remembers, well, everything).

Summary
Steve Rogers is defrosted six weeks after the attack on New York. Imagine his surprise when, while catching up on the things he's missed, he watches a video of a figure in a red, white, and blue costume decapitating aliens with a familiar shield.
As it turns out, in the wake of Steve’s apparent death, ‘Captain America’ has become a mantle passed on within SHIELD and the US Army. Everyone says that Steve will love the current Cap, but after Steve meets the man from the video, well, ‘love’ isn’t exactly how he’d describe his feelings towards the guy.
Bucky doesn't like the fact that the original Captain America has returned. It's not that he's worried he'll be out of a job, but because there's trouble brewing inside of SHIELD, and he can't quite figure out exactly how and where the old Cap fits into the mess.
But as ghosts from both of their histories re-emerge from the shadows, the Captain Americas of both past and present will have to work together in order to save what they hold dear: their friends, their freedom, and who knows, maybe even each other.

The gallop of Sam’s heart slows, and the tightness in his lungs eases so suddenly that it’s like he’s gone buoyant, ready to float away without the help of any wings. Barnes turns as if he can sense Sam looking at him, and when he meets Sam’s eyes, he smiles, and it’s the brightest damn thing on this battlefield, a shock of sweetness in the midst of so much dark bitterness and confusion. Sam smiles back, giddy with joy and relief.
