"Now, I know you’ll resist," Mike blurts out, stepping toward him. "But I think this will be good. For both of us! For when we... you know,” Mike trails off, “When we get partners.”
Will scoffs, stepping closer to inspect the titles.
Spill or Sip and Truth, Dare, or Strip.
Or: Mike suggests a spicy card game to help Will loosen up before college. It works a little too well, and suddenly they’re gambling with unresolved feelings, and clothes, that were meant to stay in place.

“My wise one, are you trying to seduce me with your divine charms?” He leaned back, his calloused hand cupping William’s cheek, thumb brushing over the soft skin. The touch was tender, but Michael’s breath hitched into a whine when William leaned into it.
“Seduce you? Oh, my brave paladin, as if I need to try,” William teased, tilting his head with feigned innocence, even as his cheeks hollowed around Michael’s fingers, his tongue circling them in slow, torturous swirls. Michael was transfixed. With a loud, lewd pop, William looked him over, eyes lingering on the mouth-watering trail of hairs down his navel to the equally salivating bulge straining his trousers, then said, “Look at you. I have yet to let you kiss me, and you’re already powerless.” To add to his teasing, he raised both of his hands,shrugging, “Not a book of spells in sight.”

“Oh.” And Will looks a lot more surprised at this, actually, than the idea that Mike might have just wanted to come to his room to make small talk about unseasonably frigid California winters. “Okay. What about?”
“Anything.” The response is embarrassingly immediate. “Everything. I don’t know. I missed you.”
Hawkins, 1986. The world is ending, there are too many people in Mike's house, and to top it all off, he and Will have some things to talk through.

"With a casual flick of his wrist, Will released the pressure. Mike collapsed into the cushions, gasping violently, clutching his chest as oxygen finally flooded back into his system. "Hey... that’s... that’s not fair," Mike wheezed out, his heart racing, not just from the lack of air, but from the terrifyingly beautiful sight of Will standing over him.
Will smirked. He sat down and rested a hand firmly on Mike’s knee. The heat of his palm seared through Mike’s jeans. "Life isn’t fair, Mike," Will laughed softly, then turned to slide the movie into the player.
As the movie started, Mike’s mind was a chaotic buzz of static. He should have been annoyed, but he couldn't stop staring at the side of Will’s face. He felt a shameful, electric thrill at having been so completely dominated, so helpless under Will’s literal thumb. He wanted to see it again. He needed to see that look of absolute control on Will’s face."
Or, Mike has a thing for when Will uses his powers, especially when Will uses it on him, and Will likes seeing Mike squirm.

His fluffy hair at the front, clumped pieces at the back where he’d slid his fingers in a mere few minutes before. His pretty green eyes that look hazel or even brown in this light, the dark circles he gets when he drinks framing them like intricate paintings. A satisfied, bloody smile.
Mike isn’t satisfied. He swallows thickly, choking down the words 'don’t you want more?'
Or: Will dresses as a vampire for a college halloween party, but Mike thinks his costume isn’t bloody enough. Will lets him fix it. Mike goes into a crisis.

He wondered how he wasn’t broke yet, gas prices were horrible. Yet he continued. Blasting the radio, putting a thrifted CD in, connecting his spotify to the chevvy, anything to drown out the thoughts. It just so happened he picked the radio at the worst possible moment.
