“No. BigB didn’t even recognize it. I dunno, it’s a mystery.” Martyn mumbles, scraping his claw on his fang “But yeah, I’m going for the Red King.”
“Dogwarts, huh...” Scott hums, getting up from the table and heading towards his bookshelves “That’s on Hermitopia.” it doesn’t take long for him to find what he’s looking for, a rolled map “The most mysterious land of them all. You're in for a treat, Martyn.”

A street rat and an orphan, Martyn had been taken in by a coven of witches in the royal capital. They raised him, and he could probably make himself a wealthy man within the span of a few years if he stayed here, but even still, all he wanted was to get out of the city.
Then he could finally be alone. No longer having to dial his social skills up to 11 day in and day out as he frantically ran the crowded front for his teachers famous apothecary. He's finally proven himself worthy of being a full-fledged witch, earned his emblem, and now it's time for the journey to a remote village that's been seeking a witch of their own for a long time. Open his own apothecary and pass the days peacefully without the stress of the city's roar all around. Unfortunately, the roads are treacherous, and a young beautiful witch traveling alone was a coveted prize. Martyn has a plan, though.

And she was just a girl. fWhip was more than aware that Gem, unlike him, was born a genius. Always good at everything she touched. Moving on, what was he to do if he was not going back home?

He heard it again. This time it was louder. And the ground seemed to rumble afterwards. Martyn stilled, breath catching in his throat when he could hear sniffing. Like a large beast was searching. He held his breath like that, still and unmoving as the snorting and violent sniffing got louder, closer. He didn't move until he could feel hot breath against his chilled skin. He very slowly turned, feeling coarse fur bristle against his arm, where his sleeve was already ripped from a thin cut. An arrow wound, thanks to the skilled archers of that damned town.
He saw big red eyes, illuminated in the darkness, staring at him. A huge, shadowy form towered over him, thick brown fur blowing slightly in the breeze. A long, bushy tail lashed back and forth, and tall, pointed ears flicked and twitched. The beast growled quietly, sharp, gnarly teeth sticking out of its massive snout, a bit of saliva dribbling out of the side. Its big nose twitched, and sniffed as it got closer to Martyn, who remained stiff, paralyzed with fear.
