Wade’s an observant guy. He knows that something fishy went down a ways back near the Statue of Liberty, and that something fishy happened as a result. But once they fixed up the Statue of Liberty, everyone moved on from it the way they move on from every freaky thing that happens, so learning much more than that has been harder than finding Blind Al’s hidden stash of cocaine. And Wade is also a busy guy, so unless he has some reason to care, he’s gonna make like his old man and fuck off about it.
This, though, might be a reason to care.

Mikey’s sitting sullenly on the couch, arms wrapped around himself, chin tucked to chest. Jack can practically see the sulking, malevolent aura streaming from him like heat off tarmac. Trying to get in there and break open Mikey’s bad mood seems like trying to break into Fort Knox, and Jack can still feel his own pissed off-ness like hot steam in his chest. He doesn’t want to do something he regrets.
So, he does the only thing he can think of.

He was wearing a mask, but the way his eyes crinkled as the girl hugged him stirred up an ache in her chest. She wondered if her father ever looked at her like that.

Reader has to work three jobs while raising her younger brother since their dad sucks, task force 141 has been raising their daughter together. Their paths cross and Reader thinks having four dads would be way better than having less than one. Maybe she's not the only one that thinks that.

And for context, you are part of the rebel group for the planet. "Was" is probably a better word, but it doesn't matter now. It's a rebel bar it's pretty self explanatory... I digress....
When a new face peaks your internet it isn't usually for good reasons. Either they're a rebel or they're not, and in the current state of the planet you're not sure what ones better. But this time, it's a bit different. You're pretty sure he's "Human", but you can't really tell. Blue hair isn't usually what humans have as far as the description goes. But this one can drink. I mean, seriously drink. By the time you notice them, they're about 30 shots deep and demolishing the competition.
You laugh to yourself. This might be fun.
