Summary
The fight had taken fourteen hours and now that he finally had a moment to himself to relax Kon decided to scroll through the over 400 new messages in the Young Justice group chat.
Timothy Drake has sent new images.
Kon tapped on them without thinking.
The first was a selfie. Tim was looking good in a soft gray sweater, his hair a little messy, his cheek pressed against the shoulder of a blonde guy Kon vaguely recognized from the occasional mention in Tim's life. Some old friend from school he'd been reconnecting with recently. Bernard, right? Bernard Dowd.
The second picture was Bernard kissing Tim on the cheek.
Kon stared. He wasn't sure how long he stared, actually. Long enough for his thumb to stop moving. Long enough for the sounds of the city below to grow a little distant as the wind picked at his hair.
Why did his chest hurt?

Kon kept his eyes closed for a moment, chest rising and falling rapidly as he tried to catch his breath, and when he finally opened them, his mouth ready to tell Tim to fuck off, the words died somewhere between his brain and his tongue.
The sight on top of him caused all the blood that had moved to his face due to exertion rush back down south.

Tim Drake has a problem.
Someone is targeting him. Three attacks in less than a week are enough for the rest of the Batfamily to decide that Tim needs a bodyguard, whether he likes it or not.
Unfortunately, that bodyguard happens to be none other than Superboy.It doesn’t help that Tim already has a crush on his best friend.
And Kon? He already has a crush on Red Robin.
There’s just one problem: Kon has no idea that Tim Drake is Red Robin.It’s supposed to be simple. Kon protects Tim, Tim puts up with having Superboy following him around and neither of them makes things complicated.
Except Kon starts falling for Tim Drake as well.And things get even more complicated when Tim and Kon cross a line neither of them ever intended to cross.
Or Kon gets assigned as Tim’s bodyguard without knowing that Tim Drake and Red Robin are the same person. Secret identity shenanigans and a two-person love triangle ensured

Here’s the thing, Kon was objectively the correct choice. His Kryptonian DNA and lab-grown origin meant that he could speak every language fluently (including French), he was definitely available — since he did very little outside of Young Justice business — and with a little coaching he’d probably fit right in with all those art nerds.
Subjectively, though, Kon posed an issue.
Tim was majorly in love with him.
OR
An uptick in art crime leads Tim and Kon on a mission to Paris. Things get complicated when the mission begins feeling like a romantic getaway.

It is the Summer of 1911 when Tim's train home from his final year at prep school breaks down in an isolated, small town.
