Nick didn't have a stomach, but he had a friend that owned Power Noodles, the local diner. As a result he went in just to talk often enough which lead to meeting an odd and oddly familiar ghoul. Funny... Most ghouls avoided the city.
Nick would have to keep an eye on this one.

Snow feels it in his bones—this place is a disaster, but it’s a disaster that works. And then there’s Hancock. The ghoulish mayor’s got the same heart as his city: worn down, but still smirking. The man cuts through the grime like a razor blade, and for some stupid reason, Snow finds himself leaning in. Maybe Goodneighbor fits him just fine

It has been 219 years since the bombs dropped, and even more since Cooper Howard and Nathaniel Allbright parted ways after being discharged from the army.
Now, Nate has made his way to New Vegas at the request of Arthur Maxson and Mr. House who are looking to strike a deal to curb the growing power of the now openly rebelling Western Chapter. As a third party mediator, Nate is trying to enjoy the R&R that the Strip has to offer with his fiance, John Hancock since they are missing out on a Christmas far away from their home in the Commonwealth. Meanwhile, Lucy MacLean and Cooper Howard find themselves relegated to a status of "wait your turn" to see the ever increasingly sought after Mr. House. It was only a matter of time before the four collided.
Things go a little more smoothly than they did when Lucy and Cooper dealt with the Courier before making it to the Strip, but Cooper has some questions for an old friend who is unsure he wants to answer them or face the memories that they'll dredge up. Meanwhile, Lucy can't figure out why she seems to know Nate too.

Sharpshooter Craig Boone will not tell you this, but there is a .308 round lodged right between Carla’s eyes, and every time his finger embraces his rifle’s trigger, he briefly sees her face swimming before his crosshair. Courier Six will not tell you this, but he’d found an old picture of Carla in the drawers of Boone’s room and decided that it was almost like looking into a mirror.
A story in which Courier Six is a nightmare that just won't end. A story in which Craig Boone hates to love a man who wears his wife's smile with conviction.

Okay, so maybe that’s not the first thing he does. The first thing he does is stumble his way to Megaton, asking everyone he meets if they’ve seen his dad. They say no, of course, because he offers no descriptors as to what his dad might look like, and everyone in Megaton knows that a Vault suit means trouble if they’re not careful. Then he gets sick because his stomach is not ready for the sheer amount of radiation in the water, gets sick again when the radiation in the food hits him harder than he thought it would in such low doses, and spends the night with Miss Moira Brown because he can barely scrape himself up off her couch to fend for himself."
Remus Averys was not ready for the Capital Wastes. The Capital Wastes most certainly were not ready for him.Series
