Summary
In the Fritz district, heroes weren’t the people that jumped across buildings and sat at the mayor’s feet. They didn’t put criminals behind bars or show up on TV wearing shiny colours and shinier smiles.
They were the people that kept up the codes, painting new coats when they started to fade and swapping out old ones when new residents moved in. They were the cashiers that kept track of people’s spending and turned a blind eye when a struggling Hermit snuck something extra into their pocket.
They were the people who knew the bare minimum about medicine and handed out that help like candy on Halloween.
They were the kind of person Grian was becoming.

Scars eyes widened, and his heart started beating twice the speed a coffee addict has on the regular. The angel was… It was beautiful. In a way that only the divine and godly could. The being was wearing a mask shaped like a crescent where a humans eyes would be. It had dirty blond hair that faded to a light purple at the ends that floated as if it was under water. Wearing silken robes that shared a similar color as the edges of its hair with darker purples and golds thrown into the mix. Its halo lit up the surroundings and accented his wings..

Grian snorted despite himself. “How’s the never-ending spiral of engineering hell treating you, then?”
“Oh, you know,” Joel shrugged with a dramatic sigh. “Sleep-deprived. Caffeine-dependent. Soul slowly eroding beneath mountains of mathematical theorems that I swear are made up. But at least when I graduate, I’ll have a job.”
Grian flinched theatrically. “Oof. Low blow.”
Joel raised an eyebrow. “Am I wrong?”
“No,” Grian admitted, his lips twitching into something crooked. “But at least I’ll have freedom.”
“Oh yes,” Joel drawled. “The famous freedom of starving artists— living off expired protein bars and making tragic eye contact with neon billboards about ‘success stories’. So liberating.”

Grian is a dropout college student desperate to continue his crumbling dreams as an artist - a minority in the fast paced future based society he despises. After being knocked on his ass by an out of control hoverboarder, Grian realises that a morning cup of coffee is the least of his worries now.

Summary
Scar has transferred to start his second year at Hermiton University of Craft and Engineering in London, ready to leave America behind. What he doesn’t expect is to recognise one of his fellow students from his flight –Grian, and his adorable cat.
Grian is back in England after a decade in the States, settling into business classes and hiding his cat in a dorm he technically shouldn’t have. Seeing his friends again is a breath of fresh air and meeting an attractive dude on his flight that happens to be attending the same university him was certainly a bonus.
With Scar adapting to the differences between America and England, and Grian finally feeling at home after ten years, the two grow close.
But not everything can be a fairy tale.

Summary
Grian has a little issue, he's a lacking a bit of money to pay his rent in time. He has only a few days left before payment, and he can't risk being kicked out of this apartment, since he had been living there with Scar since the beginning of their studies together.
But he's no beggar or crybaby, he won't resort to just ask his friends to lend money, that was just the wrong thing to do.Instead, he'll do something he knows he's good at and knows it'll give him the money just in time. The only small downsides of this side hustle are that for one, it's illegal, and two, he hates coming back bruised all over and having to make up a really good lie for it.
So, just for tonight, he'll go use his fists to get himself to his goal, no matter who's against him. Well, there's of course one exception...
Just one person he'd be willing to stop fighting for.(It's a "patching you up" fic)

“Be my pretend boyfriend,” he blurted. Not hesitant, not uncertain, but firm.
Scar froze, as if his brain couldn’t process Grian’s demand, and crashed. “Sorry, what?”
“I,” He pointed at himself, “need you,” he pointed at Scar, “to be my fake boyfriend.” He made a lopsided heart with his hands.
“O-oh.”
“If you don’t want to, you don’t have to,” Grian reminded him. The last thing he wanted was to overstep the boundaries of one of his bestest friends.
Grian’s parents have been bothering him to get a girlfriend. To spite them and shut them up, he pretends to be in a relationship with his best friend, Scar. Things go downhill from there, especially as something fake turns into something far more real.
