Steve Harrington had every moment of his life planned out. He knew who he was going to grow up to be; a perfect cog in the machine at the Ministry of Magic with a perfect pureblood wife and perfect pureblood children. Since he was old enough to understand, his father had drilled it into his head that the Harrington name commanded respect, and he had expectations to live up to. Expectations that now barreled towards him as he rode the Hogwarts Express for the very first time, nervous and excited to begin to become the man he was supposed to be, a great wizard like all who came before him.

Summary
There was a broken bottle at his throat. Steve swallowed hard as he looked into the eyes of Eddie Munson, deep brown irises blown out with fear like a cornered animal. He struggled to catch his breath as he recovered from the wind being knocked out of him and tried to focus on anything but the makeshift weapon being nervously held up in front of him. Eddie’s hands weren’t shaking. His eyes were terrified, but his body wasn’t betraying any of that same fear. Steve was locked in place by a deceivingly strong arm and couldn’t do anything as Dustin tried his best to talk Eddie down from killing his best friend.

Summary

Summary
In September 1979, things are coming along for the March-Healy household quite nicely. (Get it, Nicely). But when Holland and Jackson answer a mysterious summons from a university professor, they are once again embroiled in intrigue and death. This time they are a long way from home, with no friendly faces to help them out – well, except maybe one. Will the Nice Guys be able to tell friend from foe, or will they be swept up in the avalanche heading their way?
A/N: This work is complete and will be updated roughly every three days. Since posting my first work in the Nice Guys fandom, I have wanted to do a longer-style fic for them.
