That's when Joe West finds him, and takes it upon himself to make sure Cisco realizes that he's not alone in this world.
Or, Cisco is missing a father figure and Joe just happens to be there.
Set during season 1 after Team Flash discovers Harrison Wells' true identity through Cisco's dream.

THIS KNOCKED MY SOCKS OFF. This is just amazing. The worldbuilding is phenomenal, and the storytelling structure is fantastic, the prose is beautiful. The character voices are so spot on, across all of the series, and I love all of the interactions. And the deep and thoughtful exploration of 'the diversity of sentience' is so so fitting for all of these series. Absolutely phenomenal.
