Jamie loves team parties.
He loves basking in the raucous laughter, the giddiness where everything seems funny and like a reason to sling an arm around a teammate’s shoulder.
He loves knowing that for a few hours, at least, he won’t have to go back to his empty fucking flat and its sparse fridge and the unmade bed he’ll eventually crawl into. He loves knowing that for a few hours, at least these days, he’ll be surrounded by people who properly fucking care about him. Who won’t slap him around the cheek at the slightest slip-up.
Jamie loves team parties.

"Good morning, Harry. Just about," Snape adds on, sarcastic, but Harry knows that he isn't in trouble with that arch of the man's brow. He knows very well, by now, what it looks like when Snape is taking the mick rather than being genuinely annoyed or judgemental.
"It's the holidays," he shrugs, feeling comfortable enough to grin at the man.
"So it is." There's a faint edge of a smile at that, Snape's lips twitching up in what can only be amusement.
Something along the lines of Harry's shoulder unspools then, an elastic-strained tension lost to the assurance.

Next thing Harry knows, there's blood dripping down his face, pooled into dark stains on his pillows, smeared on his hands, on Snape's hands, and it's clotting in his eyelashes too, crusting at the corner of his eye, although he thinks the tackiness he can feel on his cheeks might be tears too, actually.
Bloody hell, how fucking embarrassing.

(Part of Harry believes, deep-down, where his truest, ugliest, most hopeful thoughts cower away, that Snape is genuine in his care, and earnest in his want for Harry to be okay. That he could trust the man with what he already has and more, and still be treated the same.
He won't dare to give into that, not based off of less than a single summer at least, particularly not after the last four years and what little he knows of the war surely coming, but still. The thought of it lingers, in his quietest moments.)

Tommy hasn't seen or spoken to his brothers in almost seven years. And it was supposed to stay that way. In fact Tommy wasn't ever supposed to see or speak to his brother until they apologized to him. Or at least that's what he thought.
Now in his senior year in the most prestigious school in the country due to a very strange set of circumstances, Tommy is shocked to find his out his brothers are coming home a semester early and are going to be staying at home with him again.
With his whole world shaken and his perfectly crafted world crumbled by this news, Tommy figure out how to manage his knew home life with his current school life.
Not to mention he's also part of the school theatre program that is much more demanding than anything he's ever done before.
Tommy has to make it through his last semester of high school, last show with the school that has done so much for him and now his entire schedule and life has been thrown to the wind by his family. And why are they acting like nothings wrong?
