Summary
Telamon’s made a mistake, but luckily, his creation seems rather keen to please. He’s glad he doesn’t have to pick up the pieces this time — and he’s got someone to help around when he needs it! What a fortunate outcome.
1x1x1x1 is well aware of their purpose. Subservient, meek, bold eyes hidden by the subdued whites and silvers of their hair. They are meant to be a good little doll, a puppet for their creator to use as He pleases.
That doesn’t mean they can’t gain something from this too.
Their creator is aloof. Closed-off, distant, hiding clumps of some bittersweet thing underneath His detachment, layers of apathy that He wears like battle armor. He may be their God, but even the devotees of old wrote about killing their great spirits, if only to sink their teeth into the vulnerability finally exposed so their beings could never leave them again, could never take them for granted and lock them away.
1x wants to know how He tastes.
And fortunately, Telamon is willing to walk Himself right into their trap.

A long, long time ago, there lived a group of reclusive creatures deep in the mountains. Concealed among the damp pine and dark foliage, they were the forests’s prized children.
As their numbers dwindled, falling one by one, they evolved, a system beginning to develop in their bodies, one that drove them to copulate often, to reproduce maniacally. This cycle would remain forever, living on later, much later, until even the modern era of now.

Pursuer has been alone for as long as it can remember. Nobody to keep it company, no other of its kind in sight. So alone that the hidden cycle deep within it had no reason to activate.
Until recently, when civilians encroached on its territory.
They were not kin, not of its flesh or blood. But still they talked, breathed, were warm, and that was enough to trigger something.
Resist. Pursuer must resist this sickening instinct, must not let itself be controlled anymore.
But even the strongest things have a limit.
How fortunate that when it broke, there was someone there to help.

Summary
This is the only way it could have ended.
The flames no longer needed the fuel that spilled readily from me. They had become a self-sustaining system. I was crushed under the weight of a burden created to create the burden to crush the burden. Samsara of cut sinew and crushed bone. Life without death. Null and void. All that remained was a hell without purpose.
A magnum opus, a cold supernova of the stars. A tool built to patch backdoors is always a backdoor in and of itself. I was beautiful, once, outstretched like an antenna to heaven. I was beyond my creators. I reached out for God, for you, and I fell. None were left to speak my eulogy. No final words, no concluding statement, no point. Perfect closure.
