Telamon’s made a mistake, but luckily, his creation seems rather keen to please. He’s glad he doesn’t have to pick up the pieces this time — and he’s got someone to help around when he needs it! What a fortunate outcome.
1x1x1x1 is well aware of their purpose. Subservient, meek, bold eyes hidden by the subdued whites and silvers of their hair. They are meant to be a good little doll, a puppet for their creator to use as He pleases.
That doesn’t mean they can’t gain something from this too.
Their creator is aloof. Closed-off, distant, hiding clumps of some bittersweet thing underneath His detachment, layers of apathy that He wears like battle armor. He may be their God, but even the devotees of old wrote about killing their great spirits, if only to sink their teeth into the vulnerability finally exposed so their beings could never leave them again, could never take them for granted and lock them away.
1x wants to know how He tastes.
And fortunately, Telamon is willing to walk Himself right into their trap.

Summary
This is the only way it could have ended.
The flames no longer needed the fuel that spilled readily from me. They had become a self-sustaining system. I was crushed under the weight of a burden created to create the burden to crush the burden. Samsara of cut sinew and crushed bone. Life without death. Null and void. All that remained was a hell without purpose.
A magnum opus, a cold supernova of the stars. A tool built to patch backdoors is always a backdoor in and of itself. I was beautiful, once, outstretched like an antenna to heaven. I was beyond my creators. I reached out for God, for you, and I fell. None were left to speak my eulogy. No final words, no concluding statement, no point. Perfect closure.
This is the only way it should have ended.

I have never regretted anything. All my choices are in the name of Blackrock, made to repay my benefactors and the generosity they showed by taking me in when I was at my lowest. Blackrock shall reign supreme.
But if I could redo any one choice, relive any one moment...
Maybe I would have agreed, when he said what we were doing was too unethical. I don't know anything about that sort of moral dilemma, I've never felt any guilt over exploiting the people. If they didn't want to be taken advantage of, they shouldn't be so weak. But he does. And maybe, if I could go back, I would have agreed with him.
Because then I wouldn't have lost him.
Medkit is but a distant memory of the past now, little more than the executioner who I will seek out when the rot threatens to overtake me.
How lucky I am, then, that the brain is the last organ to shut down upon death. Plenty of time to remember—
"Aaaaaand Subspace is down, shot by none other than his sworn enemy!"

1x has been deprived for so long.
Suspended in the endless end with nothing to do but to hone his body and sharpen his mind. Solitude begets isolation, isolation begets insanity, insanity begets recklessness.
Yes, he is feeling reckless, now.
"Oh, creator mine!" He croons, and he can feel how all the others flinch away, the stares they level him and Shedletsky.
But he doesn't mind. Let them know, let them fear.
His creator is his, nobody else's. That's all that matters.

Shedletsky would like it to be known that he had created 1x on complete accident. Unfortunately, that would require it being known that he was his creator in the first place, and if that got around then nobody would be hearing him out.
He's starting to think he should have just sucked it up and made the big reveal. Because after so long, 1x is back.
And he's calling out towards Shedletsky.

One day, 1x had just disappeared. There were signs of a struggle.
This was very worrisome.
Now he's back.
And he's different.
Something is deeply, terribly wrong.
