Summary
A lot of things in Larissa’s life aren't what most people would consider ‘normal’. But finding out she was indirectly contributing to brainwashing a man in a huge safe in the basement? That's a whole new level of fucked up.
After seeing S.H.I.E.L.D. for what they truly are, Larissa is forced to run for her life, leaving behind everything she knows. At least she’s not alone. A confused Bucky Barnes has made it his mission to get her to safety while he tries to put himself back together.
________________________________The feeling was shocking after not knowing anything other than the icy cold and fear and numbness. It was like a warm shower after being locked out in the snow. It made his skin tingle, his limbs shake, and his stomach flip. And in the best way possible, it was like he was waking up from the cryostasis chamber all over again.
Bucky finally understood what being awake could feel like.

Summary
Samantha Stark had a lot to live up to. She had her father’s smarts but none of his charisma, and thanks to a childhood accident, none of his attention, either. Desperate for his approval, she carved out a place for herself without his help only to find out that being a Stark comes with benefits and lots of consequences.
Bucky Barnes’ second chance felt like marking time until he met Stark’s daughter. Sam Stark saw him as a person first and a soldier second, the first person to ask him if he would choose to be healed instead of being a weapon. Maybe it was the dogged determination she showed or her total lack of hubris, but she snuck past the plates in his armor and set up shop where she didn’t, couldn’t, shouldn't belong.
When his luck ran out, Tony did the only conscionable thing: protect his daughter from himself.

Gah, this fic gives me all of the feels. Lexi is capable of weaving tiny details into a giant tapestry of epicness in a way I’ve never seen done in fanfiction.
This fic doesn’t shy away from difficult emotions and dysfunctional family dynamics but also has the ability to make you laugh out loud. Not every character is immediately likable but they're realistic, and dear god, they weasel their way into your heart and earn their place there.
This fic is fearless and written with passion and so much care. And Lexi, I’m here till the end of the line!

Summary
Tony lost Pepper in the Snap. What he gains, what EARTH gains, is a 'gift' from Thanos: Soulmates. Some say that the mad Titan used the stones to do this out of respect for Earth's role in his grand design, others say it's to make those left behind complacent, docile-- even grateful.
Tony isn't grateful. He's pissed. His Words are a cruel slap in the face, and the whole concept is bullshit. He spends a year doing right by the world with his company and then settles down to build his lake house. Tony falls for his smart, gorgeous architect as easy as breathing, all the while feeling self-righteous about the whole 'inevitability' of Soulmates. He's beat the system, fallen in love the old-fashioned way. All Tony has to do is get her to actually speak to him, instead of by text or email.
And then she does. She says his Words.
