Summary
The Second Great Demon War five thousand years ago was a time of great upheavals. The ancient Kingdom of Gold was destroyed in the aftermath of a great sacrifice from the Holy Sun Priests, countless heroes died, many species vanished from the world as they went into isolation and it became the end of an era. But just because the humans won does not means the war didn't continue for the suffering commoners. The humans started to sicken from the ‘Demon Sickness’. Seeing the humans’ plight and furthermore moved by the sacrifice of her Holy Sun Priests, the Goddess of Light Paivatar joined hands with the God of the Sky and Constellations Anu to create the Celestial Spirits.
They were the original demon slayers. Until, their purpose was lost. People have forgotten the tragedy and bloody beginnings of the Celestial Spirits, but they have not. They still exists, and one day their purpose will come again. It's the only reason why they were still here.
