Each twitch and jerk felt like a small bolt of electricity shooting through the affected limb. He had felt similar things, like after he overuses his quirk, and his brain short-circuts for a small amount of time. But this was different. This wasn’t just right after he had used his quirk, this was random, all throughout the day. He had gotten used to mildly frying his brain after overusing his electricity, but this? He wasn’t sure he would be able to get used to this. Even more, he hoped he didn’t have to get used to it. He hoped that if maybe, just maybe, he ignored it enough, it would go away.

Kaminari has been noticing some odd twitching, his body occasionally moving on its own. When his mother takes him to the doctor for it, his whole world crumbles. When Atsushi was 7 years old, they started to twitch slightly sometimes. It wasn’t much, but over time it got worse. By the time he was 13 he was diagnosed with Tourette’s syndrome, which causes them to sometimes make sounds, movements, or say random words. It is completely out of his control, but he still gets upset with himself when he tics.

It’s a cold, bitter night, and in a cell in an orphanage is a malnourished and underweight boy. That boy is Nakajima Atsushi.
Atsushi is sitting on the dangerously cold floor, his back against the wall, facing the cell door. It’s dead quiet, except the growling of Atsushi’s stomach. He hasn’t eaten anything for days, he isn’t sure how many, as he kinda looses track of time when he is in his cell without food, day after day.
(Just some chapters of a fanfic I’ve been writing. Might post more chapters, if people like it.)

It’s not uncommon for Bakugou to feel alone. Despite having friends, and all of 1-a, he still feels lonely. It’s a feeling that he can’t escape. The only time he doesn’t feel alone is when he’s with Kirishima, but he can’t always be with him. Every time he walks into his house, his room, his dorm room, anywhere, without Kirishima, he feels alone. Even with Kaminari he feels lonely if Kirishima isn’t with him.
