"May I make a stipulation?" Tumbled out of Quackity's mouth before he had a chance to stop himself. Technically, he had three stipulations, but he figured one was even pushing it at the moment.
"That depends," Wilbur replied, his smile falling. "What is it?"

“Phil, I’ll be fine,” Technoblade brushed off, a smirk on his lips. “Technoblade never dies!” He turned, his cape flowing softly behind him as he made his way towards the open door.
“It doesn’t kill you- not directly,” Philza stated, watching Technoblade’s steps falter. “It corrupts you slowly and takes place over months- if not years- of rot. Until you are nothing more than a puppet for the Wither. You, of all people, cannot be corrupted. With your strength, the Wither could decimate the entire server.”
Technoblade stood completely still, seemingly contemplating Philza’s words. For a moment, Philza thought he had gotten through to the piglin hybrid.

Technoblade was huge.
Not in a bad way, of course. Except it was. Technoblade was too strong.
Birds were very fragile creatures. They could break at any wrong movement. Their bones were brittle, and hollow. Techno knew this from all the times he had broken them. Always on accident; but always, nonetheless.
So he had sequestered himself away from wings. Avoiding them at all costs, even if it meant eating solely vegetables, and refusing hugs.
Until Phil.
Now, Techno, the big and strong hulking mass of muscle, had a companion. A frail, tiny, mortal human. Who just happened to have hollow and brittle bones.

Wilbur felt the threads he had carefully woven, mindfully creating a pattern to falsify his stability, slowly wearing out. He felt them slipping, the soft chains loosening and letting him free. He could tell from the way he shook, his hands gripping himself tightly and trying his best not to grasp at his hair. He knew it when he felt hot tears flooding out his eyes, pooling at his neck. He couldn’t deny the fact as his heart raced, and his mind slowed.

i can't fall downThe Minecraft's were known for rash decisions. Phil fostering a kid without telling his sons, Wilbur barging head-first into other's problems, and Techno driving off after an argument were all good examples of this. Two of these decisions were fixable. One is not.
When Techno inevitably crashes his car, his body and soul disconnect, leaving him a ghost to roam the earth while attempting to get back into his body- which is in a coma.
This is the story of Techno recanting his childhood, grieving his mother, and trying to fix things, all while stuck in another plane of existence. An existence only human enough to see what his mistakes have caused.

Things don't always go as planned.
