Summary
To say Dream was slightly annoyed at what George calls a slight inconvenience - as much as meeting eyes could be - would be drastically underestimating his mood. On a scale of gripping his nails to bleed to pathetic arson, he was ascending quickly; he was quite possibly breaking a barrier at this point.
George stepped back from him, as he marched right past to collect his things. He shivers at the cold reaction he got.
George can't seem to figure out why Dream has been in this more hostile attitude than their normal banters; and he seems to miss them as much.

Summary
It’s been eight months since George and Dream lost contact. Too many fans, too many edits, too many shrines and brand deals and people with wide eyes, looking into their souls with the expectation of perfection and paragons of human existence and finding something more real, less pretty. Too much to handle.
Chelsea Hodson once said that suffering feels religious if you do it right. Dream can’t remember the last time he was happy. He doesn’t want to.
There’s a kind of comfort in the sizzling sadness that bares its teeth and bites. There’s a kind of comfort in George’s face that he can’t find in humans or edits or shrines, something ungodly and religious. The kind of comfort that only poems and music and promises of "I’ll always be here" and "I wanna be yours" and "If my wishes came true, it would've been you."
It’s been eight months since George and Dream lost contact and it’s been two minutes since Dream saw his face on a dimly lit screen and realized that Chelsea Hodson was right.

Summary
Dream is one one of top pitchers in the state, maybe even the country, and with how competitive Florida baseball is, that's saying a lot. Every coach would dream of having him on their line-up, that's how he got his nickname, but even then, he's cocky, selfish, and by far the worst team player to ever grace the sport.
And Dream hates it.
Until a center-fielder named George completely changes the game for him.

Summary
The blaring thump of George's heart serves as an alarm, reminding him that where he crossed this line the first time there was reason. There was alcohol intoxicating his fingertips as they wound through Dream's hair, there was the excuse of a dumb college party where everyone hooks up with anyone, and there was Dream's sticky and sweet gaze on him, luring him in.
Dream's tugged away from the soft yellow glow of the hallway into the dim, shadow-plagued room, and George welcomes him lips-first.
How could this be a bad idea when Dream's lips feel like that?
Or, George's one-night stand with his least favorite person turns into a little more than that.

Kind of.
He doesn’t quite know what to call George, if not that. Love of his life seems just a little too strong.
Dream and George are boyfriends just out of high school, and trying to navigate the summer before college without telling anyone what they really are is all too complicated. Secret kisses, fireworks, and the first rays of dawn mark the end of childhood and the beginning of something terrifyingly new -- only time and sunlight will tell if they'll get their happy ending.

George’s easy laughter almost immediately follows as Dream reads aloud the quiz’s answer description, trying to contain his own, somewhat hysterical chuckling as he does so. He doesn’t know why he had thought that taking an Are you in love with your best friend? quiz, live, in front of thousands of people, was a good idea.
Dream is insane. Dream is an idiot.(Dream accidentally realizes he's in love in front of his best friend and eleven thousand people, and tries to ignore the crisis he was currently having. It doesn't work.)

The taller throws his head back, scoffs and rolls his eyes like it’s a fucking joke. George feels something inside of him snap.
“Look me in the eye,” he seethes with a startling finality, “and tell me we’re not in a relationship.”

Oh my God, he was everything. He was fucking exsquisite, dripping in golden glitter and neon lights. His cheekbones sat so perfectly beneath his eyes, which were absolutely huge. His lips were a flushed pink too perfect to be natural but Dream didn’t even care, not when a boy like that was looking back at him.
Dream meets George one fateful night at a party right before the start of his senior year. He never knew just how much one boy could change him.

"Your daughter is going to be fine in my house, Dream," George said teasingly as Dream walked up.
"Is she?" Dream hummed skeptically.
"Oh my god, what could possibly happen to your daughter? She's gonna be upstairs with Diana doing her hair," George said. "The worst thing that can happen is she burns herself with the curling iron."
"You're gonna let her burn herself with a curling iron?" Dream questioned.
"Get out of my house," George muttered.
In which Dream and George are each parent of two very wonderfully smart and mischievous daughters who happen to be friends. Oh, and of course, two daughters who are completely sick and done with their stupid rivalry that always gets in the way of their friendship.
The plan? Get them together in time for Prom. Maybe then they'll stop being so annoying.
