This does not please anybody except Lan Qiren and Qin Su herself.
(Fortunately, it does not need to.)

"Your mother's not here?" Jiang Yanli nods without lifting her head. "Of course," Auntie Hua says, frustrated but fond, the same tone she's used a thousand times to playfully mock her A-Yuan's temper, while Jiang Yanli watched — first a child, now a young lady — as her mother became someone else, so unlike the mother she knew.
(Engagement cancelled, family scattered, Jiang Yanli finds comfort in her mother's sworn sister.)

“I can make Song Lan come by snapping my fingers.”
The muzzle was still tight around Wei Ying’s mouth; there was literally no way to articulate clear words. That didn’t stop him from leaning forward and saying “Bull. Shit.” as loudly and deliberately as he could. The intonation was obvious, and Xue Yang laughed.

"He doesn’t really need a wash, but Steve’s touch already feels so nice. It’d probably feel even better to have Steve scrubbing shampoo into his hair. No harm in allowing himself a small pleasure, right? So he nods at the gorgeous twink currently tangling his fingers in his hair and seals his own fate."
Bucky struggles to keep his composure. Steve doesn't mind.

Messing About, Stacking the Deck, and Free Will - Why the themes of Good Omens Season 3 Worked for me by liquidlyrium

Summary
It is, at the very least, explicitly engaging with the text of the book and the show--a lot of the dialogue at the end is in the book itself!!--and I can see how you could tease out these ideas in a hypothetical sequel and come to where we ended up. Did we get the only or the best execution of these themes? Assuredly not. We certainly got a truncated, compromised execution of these ideas, and I can almost see the shape of where some of them could've branched out in a full season.
We have known for a long time that we were going to get a compromised product, but I'll tell you why S3 still worked for me.

Really good meta about how the S3 minimovie draws on themes present in the novel around the question of free will
